“I Am Not A Crook!”: Nixon Administration and The WaterGate Scandal

Description

President Richard Nixon, and by extension his administration, is in trouble. It’s 1973 and Nixon has just been reelected, but suspicions are slowly tying a break-in at the Watergate complex to him and his administration. The president and his cabinet have been left to try and save their image and their presidency. In this committee, delegates will be put in the seat of President Nixon’s Cabinet, managing the crisis and responding to developments from the justice department, congressional impeachment inquiry, and responding to updates from the president himself. How the cabinet chooses to respond, where their loyalties lie, and how much they value their own jobs, will all be put to the test in this crisis committee.
