Description
The ad-hoc Summits of the Americas (SOA) were institutionalized in 1994, serving as a platform to discuss ongoing political, economic, and social growth among the heads of states within the Organization of American States (OAS). However, the Summit has reconvened for an emergency session during 2024 to address everything from growing Chinese influence to the War on Drugs as global pressures from various nations and domestic instability threaten to shake up the Western Hemisphere.
