For All Mankind: The Contest for the Moon
Description
In 1969, Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov became the first human to walk on the moon, declaring, “I take this step for my country, for my people, and for the Marxist-Leninist way of life.” Shocked by this new development in the Space Race, the United States desperately works to repair its bruised prestige as the world watches on. Set in an alternate timeline, this committee sees delegates serving as the brave men and women of NASA, leading the vanguard of American space efforts in hopes of restoring the faith of the American people and the balance of power in space for all mankind.
